Just 4 Kids has been running since 2006. We have almost 18 years of experience working with children: entertaining at birthday parties, organising and hosting events for children, and teaching performing arts.

How did it all begin?
Hi, I'm Vicky, the founder and owner of Just 4 Kids. Way back in the year 2000, I decided I would incorporate her love of the performing arts with working with children. I had always enjoyed looking after and entertaining kids, so while I was teaching children at my local dance school, I came up with the idea of doing Children's Birthday Parties. It started with just hosting parties for my ffamily and friends, but then I realised this could turn into something bigger. In 2004, I had a really exciting job as the children's activities manager at Kents Cavern Prehistoric Caves, in Torquay. Here, I created and ran the birthday parties as well as performing in both the Halloween and Christmas shows around the caves. I just loved running children's parties. Whilst working at Kents Cavern, Just 4 Kids started to take shape.
Then in 2006, I set up Just 4 Kids Parties in the UK and suddenly, landed a job working in Los Angeles as a children's party entertainer with Silly Sally's Entertainment. It was here that I gained most of my skills in face painting and balloon design. While in Los Angeles, I was very lucky to be able to entertain at celebrity parties. These included the children of Will Ferrell and Adam Sandler to name but a few.
In May 2008, it was time to move back to Devon and rebuild my company in the area again. Alongside this, I worked as a performing arts teacher at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, qualifying with a performing arts teaching diploma, where I was able to teach classes, wrote and produced many musical shows and taught at summer workshops for children aged 2-18 years of age. .
In 2014, I met the lovely Ellie and the two of us ran parties together across the county. With the success of this, I expanded the business into Cornwall in 2015 (where I now live) and it has gone from strength to strength. I then became a full time primary school teacher in 2017, where I was in charge of performing arts, producing musicals such as Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz and The Tempest, alongside the annual school nativities and other performances.
Then, in 2022, after leaving full time teaching, I pursued her passion of teaching drama, dance and singing and opened our Just 4 Kids Performing Arts club for primary-aged children. We cannot wait to welcome lots of new faces to our brand new classes.
We had the most successful year of parties and events in 2022-we hosted our first Enchanted Christmas Ball and our Children's Halloween Party. And then repeated the ball again in 2023. The Just 4 Kids company now has a core team of 7 children's entertainers across Devon and Cornwall, whom you might meet at one of our parties, plus 2 performing arts teachers and 2 assistants.
